Harry is a PhD student at CPOM UCL. He is working on modelling the sea ice edge. This project focuses on mesoscale atmospheric and oceanic flows and their affect upon the dynamics of the marginal ice zone, in particular the formation of jets parallel to the sea ice edge. The results of this research shall be used to create a new parameterisation for the Los Alamos Sea Ice Model (CICE). Harry is working on the project in conjunction with the UK Met Office in Exeter.
Harry received 1st class honours in the BSc Mathematics with Theoretical Physics degree from UCL in 2008.
