Andrew Sole is a Research Student in the Bristol Glaciology Centre at Bristol University , under the supervision of Professor Tony Payne (co-supervised by Prof Jonathan Bamber, Bristol and Dr Peter Nienow, Edinburgh ). His research project is entitled 'using numerical modelling to constrain the causes of recent thinning along the periphery of the Greenland ice sheet'. Before joining Bristol, he studied at Edinburgh University where he was awarded a first class MA in Geography.
